The Effects of Seismic Coefficient Uncertainty on Pseudo-Static Slope Stability: A Probabilistic Sensitivity Analysis

چکیده
The method of pseudo-static analysis has been widely used to perform seismic slope stability, in which a coefficient is represent the earthquake shaking effect. However, it important but difficult select magnitude coefficients, are inevitably subjected different levels uncertainties. This paper aimed study influences uncertainties on stability from perspective probabilistic sensitivity analysis. deterministic critical height was estimated by upper-bound limit with soil shear strength parameters, geometrical parameters (including inclinations, heights, and widths), horizontal acceleration coefficient, unit weight masses were considered as random variables. their uncertainty degrees, correlation relations, distribution types variables density functions, failure probabilities, discussed. It shown that degrees greatly impact probability distributions computed Sobol’ index, second most variable compared parameters.
